I wish I could give a good review. Unfortunately that is not the case. I was asked how I would like the massage and I explained explicitly that I had a lower back issue and that area was not to have pressure on it. The main focus of the massage ended up being my lower back. I asked not to go hard on that area and yet the therapist continued to put pressure in that area to the point that I was brought to tears from pain. Not one moment was enjoyed and now I am unable to get out of bed from the pain. I do not recommend this place as they do not listen to their clients. On top of that a tip was requested, Which I found to be quite upfront and inappropriate as the service was not what I wanted.
We were taken to a room for our massage. We both had the same service, the Siam Orchid Retreat Massage. I consider myself able to withstand pretty hard massages, but I found my experience kind of painful. I hadn't expected my masseuse to use her whole weight on me, walk on me, etc. And when I made a pained noise, she kind of gave me an attitude saying, "Well, you said you wanted hard!"
I am a sports chiropractor and sometimes my knowledge of the body can get in the way of a treatment since I am aware of muscles not getting addressed. Not the case here. Their restroom is nice too. The trick is to not resist but to trust, give in and relax your body while they're doing their thing. We call this our "therapy". We do feel like newborns every after session, ready to go back to our desk jobs, fresh. Sometimes, after the massage, we eat at the next door Vietnamese restaurant. It feels like a mini quick vacation.

Hi, I went for a Hot Stone Massage on Sunday, 24/07/2016. When the lady had placed the stones on my ...back, I had told her that it was too hot. She then shifted the stones a little bit to the left and didn't do anything else. As it was my first time having done a Hot Stone Massage, I was not sure of how hot the stones were meant to be. During the massage, I felt some pain but didn't think too much of it. When I got home, I noticed that I had a second degree burn on my back from where a stone was placed. I had to seek medical assistance due to the burn. I'm so disappointed that the lady whom had massaged me did not point this out to me when she was massaging me. She did not make it a point to tell me that I had been burnt nor did she say anything to me when I was leaving. Surely the lady whom had massaged me would know how hot these stones should be when using them in a massage. I hope that in the future, all staff are adequately trained for the services that they are providing. I have sent you a message in regards to this issue but have yet to receive a response. Me and the mrs go here every month! They massage you exactly how you want it and it feels so nice! They are really nice and sweet but service can be a bit professional. They speak in their own language with each other when they are massaging which does feel awkward not knowing what they are talking about. The most amazing massage I've ever had! Coming from someone who gets massages regularly in different countries, I think that's saying a lot. There was some confusion when I arrived for my appt. like the yelp booking did not get logged into their appt book. But they had therapists available and I got in quickly. I got a 2 hr. full body massage and a 45 min. Head massage. Yok was amazing. So strong and intuitive. I will definitely be a regular each time I come to Tokyo for work each month!
I absolutely loved this place. The service was amazing you get greeted with a cup of warm tea. The ambient atmosphere was absolutely astonishing and very peaceful. I actually had a really bad shoulder pain that was really painful for s number of days and so I found this place going in and expecting to come out a little better, but I felt my body and even my mood lift with how happy I was that my shoulder wasn't as bad. The massage room itself was a small bamboo made room with beautiful decorations and lighting and really nice  instrumental music in the background. I enjoy very firm pressure massages and usually disappointed with therapists that don't have the strength or fluidity I enjoy in a massage. The petite gal I had was amazing. She walked on my back, stretched me in ways, I never been stretched and found knots I didn't know I had. If I'm in the city with time to kill, I will most definitely come back for more!
The massage started off rather mediocre, kind of like a first blind date where you don't expect much. We talked the whole time, and I was totally fine with that, and about 30 minutes in I thought - meh, nothing great. She started working towards my legs, but I had told her in the beginning that my shoulders were the culprit of my pain for over a month. I didn't have the best Thai massage of my life, but their couples massage for one hour is not a bad deal for $120. That's still a bit less than some other places like the Luxury Thai Spa. I actually thought the bed inside the room was nice. However, when you initially walk in, it doesn't give off the nicest impression. I'm not too picky as long as the sheets look clean and changed. The massage itself was a 3/5 for me. I got my back stepped on, but the lady who gave me the massage wasn't too accurate. I definitely think it's worth trying out several other masseuses, so I will hope for better next time around.

Been checking out different massage places looking for that "one"! I saw a review my friend did about this place and based on his comments, I had to bring my husband here to try it. I like that I could book my appointment using the yelp app, and Siam Thai responded right away. I requested for a 10:30a appt the following morning and was able to confirm a spot for myself and the hubster. The venue is easy to find, especially if you're using GPS, Waze or Google Maps. Tanya the Owner was great with the details of getting to the place and the parking situation. When we got in, there was a little misunderstanding on what type of appointment we set. I had requested 1 foot reflexology for me and 1 body massage for the hubby. They thought we were both getting a body massage and and then a foot reflexology. I see how this could have happen since the communication was with the owner instead of them. I liked that they put us both in the same room. After 5min's of my husband getting his massage, he knocked out!! I was surprised and not at the same time. I know his masseuse was just that good!! My masseuse was great, even though I only had a foot reflexology, it felt like my entire body got a massage. I felt relaxed and feeling so great! My husband couldn't stop raving about his massage and thai massage is now his favorite type! So, I would have given this place a 5 star as it deserves, however, I was turned off that my masseuse kept taking/making phone calls during our session. So much for getting that full relaxation experience. Not only was she on the phone, but she was trying to make conversation with the other masseuse...which she responded, but in a whisper tone. If not for this distraction, I would have given 5 stars.
I picked this place to treat my best friend to a massage for both of us on her birthday due to the 5 stars review. The good news is that my friend had a blissful experience and really enjoyed her massage, which was the most important part of the experience, especially since this was for her birthday. However, since I am the one writing this review, I will write out my experience.
So glad I came here yesterday. I typically go to a Thai massage down the street but they were not available. So I tried this place out. The owner knows how to run her business and her staff was on point. My massage therapist, Hannah was a sweetheart and she made me very comfortable. Her authentic Thai style massage was incredible. I even loved taking a shower in the shower room after my scrub. The clean towels were so soft and smelled good. Excellent level of cleanliness here.
