An Indian physician named Shivago Kumar Bhucca, a contemporary of the Buddha, is often credited with developing Thai massage. I arrived early and was told that I should come back in ~30 minutes. Since the temperature was cold outside, I asked if I could stay inside and there wasn't an issue. I was told that I could lay on the bed while I waited but I decided I would just sit there. I used the Yelp app on my phone to check in and there was a discount. I spoke with the person behind the counter about the discount and I was informed that because I wanted a 90 minute massage and the 90 minute massage was already discounted, it would not apply. When the person was ready I was escorted to the room. Inside the room there were 2 massage beds. I was asked how long I wanted and I mentioned that I wanted 90 minutes. I was then asked to undress and go underneath the towel.

The place is moderately sized and I feel the clientele defaults to a 60 min which was what I took and was well worth it. I wish I took the 90 minute massage given the 60 alone took all the pain and stress away but I felt I haven't done enough damage vacationing all over Japan yet to warrant a 90. Per my appt request I requested a hard massage, this expectation was met plus she focused on my problem areas when she asked me before we started. I highly recommend especially if you're looking to get a quality massage to get the kinks away from a long flight, jet lag, or traveling.
